6. Don’t put a lockbox on the house. Instead, require us to accompany all showings and require 48 hours advance notice.
7. Don’t cut the grass, edge the driveway, or plant flowers. Keep the Christmas decorations up in July, and definitely leave the dead wreath on the door.
8. Make sure you don’t use a Realtor®. Sell it by yourself and advertise only in the newspaper!
9. Don’t put a For Sale sign in the yard; after all, we wouldn’t want anyone discovering your home is for sale.
10. If a showing sneaks up on you, don’t clean. Leave piles of stuff everywhere; don’t forget to stay and hover during the showing.
