For each house or parcel the 30-year-old Seattle real estate team sells, $150 is contributed directly to the Seattle Humane Society or Burien C.A.R.E.S to support their missions and pet adoptions.

“Our team members have all rescued and adopted pets, and the bond is incredible,” said Sheryl Knowles, leader of the group.  “We wanted to help others find that meaningful connection, by raising awareness and by raising funds.”

“Every one of us has ‘fur babies’ who add to our lives,” explained Knowles.  “We wanted to find a new way to give back and help shine a light on other animals who so desperately want to go to loving homes.”

The donations will go directly to the Humane Society’s new Adoption Fund, which supports adoption events throughout the Seattle area.  Says Bret Tiderman of the Humane Society, “These events lead to more animal adoptions, especially among harder-to-adopt pets.  The Adoption Fund means more pets in forever homes.”  The Knowles Team is also supporting the Burien C.A.R.E.S rescue program with donations being shared between these two important shelters.
